O AnyDVD apresenta como principal caracteristica o facto de suportar discos Blu-Ray e HD-DVD, passando assim por "cima" das protecções anti-cópia. Nesta nova versão foi ainda dados alguns "retoques" em diversos idiomas, e actualizações nas definições do Blu-Ray e HD-DVD.
